Why does hand-painting cost more than a printed urn?
Mass-produced urns with printed images are cheaper because they skip the artist entirely. A printed decal is applied to a generic shape — it cannot capture the tilt of your pet's ears, the pattern of the coat, or the light in their eyes.
Every Pawforever portrait is painted brushstroke by brushstroke by a Jingdezhen master artisan, matched by eye to your pet's exact coloring. Each piece takes up to 14 days of patient, skilled work. It is not mass-produced — it is made for your pet, and yours alone.
How long does it take?
- Design preview: 3–5 business days after your order
- Production: 2–3 weeks for standard urns
- Sculptures and busts: 8–10 weeks
- Delivery: 5–10 business days (North America), 3–7 (Asia-Pacific), 7–14 (rest of world)
Is it worth it?
Most families tell us the likeness alone is worth it — that moment when the portrait looks back at them like their pet really did. You see and approve the artwork before anything is fired, and a 30-day guarantee protects every order. This is not a product you replace; it is a tribute you keep.
